Welcome to our Preschool 1 Program, 3 –5 Year Old Class at Little Light of Mine — a place where learning, laughter, and discovery come together every day! At this exciting stage, children are becoming more independent, curious, and eager to explore the world around them. Our classroom is designed to encourage growth through fun, engaging, and hands-on experiences that support each child’s developing mind and personality.
Whole Child Development is our Goal
We believe young children learn best through active play and meaningful interaction. Our daily activities include early learning concepts, music and movement, story time, creative arts, sensory play, beginner problem-solving activities, and opportunities for social interaction. These experiences help children strengthen their language, cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development in a natural and enjoyable way.
Welcome to our Preschool 1 (3–5 Yrs Old) Class at Little Light Light of Mine — a place where learning, laughter, and discovery come together every day! Our Preschool 1 class provides a loving, engaging, and nurturing environment where little learners can grow, explore, and thrive. We believe young children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful play, creativity, and positive relationships.
Each day is thoughtfully planned to encourage confidence, independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning while supporting every child’s social, emotional, physical, and academic development.
Our preschool classes partner with the local Child Care Resource and Referral agency. The Preschool for All program, sponsored by the agency, is now part of both preschool classes. They provide teacher training, smart tech-technology, and creative curriculum, and additional learning materials.
At Little Light of Mine, we focus on helping children build confidence, communication skills, and positive relationships with others. Through group activities, cooperative play, and teacher-guided learning, children learn important skills like sharing, listening, expressing emotions, following directions, and working together with friends.
